The citizens of countries of the European Union will be able to enter the Republic of Moldova the checkpoints with the ID cards ID1 and ID2, besides the passport.
The decision was approved on Tuesday, June 16th, by the resigning Government. In April 2014, the European Union introduced the visa-free regime for the citizens of Moldova. Now, the Moldovans travel within Europe with the biometrical passports. After more than one year, almost a million Moldovans profited from the visa-free regime.
